Medical Professionals

Dr. Christopher DeAngelis was born in Trenton, Michigan. He received his bachelor's degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended four years of medical school at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. He then completed a three-year internship and residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Riverside Osteopathic Hospital. 

Dr. DeAngelis became board certified in internal medicine following residency and was honored as a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He stays current and maintains his board certification through ongoing continuing medical education, medical conferences, and reviewing the medical literature.

Dr. DeAngelis returned to his hometown to raise his family and start his practice where he has been practicing at the same location for over two decades. He has been an active member of his community, church, and the hospitals where he’s on staff. He served on the boards of Oakwood Southshore Hospital and Oakwood Hospital System. 

The doctor’s passions include spending time with his family, cooking, and staying fit. He ran a marathon in 2013 and continues to enjoy running and CrossFit. He hopes to inspire his patients by example.

Jennifer received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2011 from Wayne State University. In 2015 Jennifer graduated from Madonna University with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Primary care Nurse Practitioner. She is Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She strives to treat each patient as if they are her own family member. Her aim is to provide every patient with comprehensive care in a holistic caring manner. Jennifer’s experience in Primary care and Geriatrics has provided her with ample knowledge in managing chronic disease to treating acute conditions.
